Eleventh Edition

September 2007

We continue on improving the appearance of your community. So please do your part by cleaning and mowing your lots.
~~Because your kids continue to vandalize the bath rooms over by the washer and dryer with mud and also leaving the water running in the bathroom. So we are now being forced to close the doors a lot sooner. It went from 9:00pm to 7:00pm, now as soon as we leave the office the doors will be locked.
~~We have dumpsters for your garbage, so please use it. Do not leave your garbage outside for a long time, it does not look good. If you have fish or shrimp that is no longer any good, dump it at the dumpsters and double your bags please.

Tenth Edition

August 2007

~~We continue to work on improving the appearance of your community so please do your part, we have had a lot of rain and it has been hard for all of us to keep up with the grass.
~~We are going to start having a good tenants and bad tenants list. If you are on the bad tenants list your rent is going to go up, there will be absolutely no exceptions.
~~Also to all of you who have pit bulls you need to get rid of them or we will be forced to take legal actions which may result in eviction.

Ninth Edition

May 2007

~~We have had many people complain about items being stolen in the Tropics. Tenants have been made aware of the situation and are looking out for each others homes. Should you be the one caught burglarizing the community you will be evicted.
~~If you have a vehicle that has not moved withing the past two weeks, it will be removed from the lot at the owner's expense.
~~Notices will be passed out informing you to please maintain your lawns, meaning mowed and the removal of debris. If this is not done within a weeks time of this notice, you will be assigned a fine that will be added to your lot rent and will be expected to be paid at the time that your lot rent is due as well.
~~Many of you have maintained your lawns and lot and it is greatly appreciated. Your hard work makes the Park look nice. Keep up the good work. Lets encourage others around us to do the same, so that our park will look clean and beautiful.

Eighth Edition

April 2007

~~April 21st we will be having tenant appreciation day, like the one we had last year. So please come and join us! We will be having food, drinks, and prizes for everyone who rents at either Tropics or Wheeling.
~~Please try to keep your property clean, grass, trash, ect. We are trying to do our best on our part, so please do yours.

Seventh Edition

March 2007

~~On April 1st there will be a increase of $10 for trash, it is not for lot rent, it is for trash. Because people continue to throw matresses, sofas, tires, and other large items. These items are not allowed to be thrown in the dumpsters. If you have large items to get rid of, you need to take them to the city dump. If you want to continue throwing your larger items in the dumpsters, they need to be broken or cut down into smaller pieces. If we catch anyone throwing these big items, you will be charged with a fine within the Tropics Mobile Home Community. Many of you may not agree with the $10 increase, but we will be having a meetins in the Rec. Hall on Monday the 5th of March, at 5:30pm, everyone must come, so that we can explain what the increase is for. This is only for the Tropics not for Wheeling Park, because Wheeling Park already pays for trash.

Sixth Edition

Febraury 2007

~~Starting this month Feb. 1, 2007 there will be no excuse for not paying your lot rent on time, if it is after hours please put it in through the slot that is on the door. Your rent is due on or before the 5th of the month so that you can get your discount, but you have until the 7th. On the 8th it will be considered late and be $195.00 plus $5.00 for every day that you do not come in. If you need a payment agreenebt I can give you one. You are only allowed three a year. If we do not have your rent by the 7th you will be charged with late fees, no exceptions unless prior arrangements have been made.

~~Regarding the dogs, many of you have dogs running around all over the park which is against the park rules. We will ask animal control to come and take your dogs. This goes out to everyone including those who work for the Tropics Mobile Home Community.

Fifth Edition

January 2007

We have given everyone a letter regarding the dogs yet many of you have chosen to keep your dogs, against park rules. So you will force us to take more drastic actions. Animal Control has told us that private property can have different rules then the city. If we ask animal control to come in here, they will come in with a law official to enforce park rules, and take your dog. You now have ten days to abide by park rules or risk being evicted. This goes out to everyone including those people who work for the Tropics Mobile Home Community.
